WHO WE ARE
Samaritan Baptist Church is a community of Spirit-filled believers with a strong foundation of prayer, who are committed to spreading the love of God and serving the community of Trenton, New Jersey and beyond.

VISION
Our vision is to be the place where people encounter the love of God by exemplify the fruits of the Spirit. Through fervent prayer and Bible study, outreach, and community development we aim to guide individuals into deep intimacy with God. We envision a growing community of Christ-followers who actively contribute to reconciliation, peace, and hope.
MISSION
Our mission is to win souls for Christ, teach God’s Word, and reach God’s people. We strive to foster a warm and inclusive environment where individuals can gather to worship, learn, and deepen their faith. Our congregation serves as a beacon of hope, healing, and community. We actively participate in God’s work by nurturing disciples and empowering them to authentically follow Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE BIBLE
WE BELIEVE the entire bible is the inspired word of God and that men were moved by the spirit to write the very words of scripture. Therefore, the bible is without error, and we recognize scripture as the final authority in our lives.
JESUS CHRIST
WE BELIEVE in one God who exists in three persons (father, son, and holy spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the trinity (the son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the savior of the world.
THE CHURCH
WE BELIEVE the Church is the community of followers of Jesus from all races and nation. The church is not a building, nor a program. Jesus is the head of the church, and we are members of His body. The Church exists to proclaim and demonstrate the good news of Jesus to the world in our everyday activities.
ABOUT MAN
WE BELIEVE that man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but was alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort.
ABOUT SALVATION
WE BELIEVE that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin and salvation is eternally secure.
ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
WE BELIEVE that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the word and daily yielding to the spirit, every believer should mature and become conformed to the image of Christ.
HOLY SPIRIT
WE BELIEVE that Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He Makes people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also indwells and empowers believers to become more like Jesus and carry on His mission and work on the earth by giving spiritual gifts to everyone.
RESURRECTION
WE BELIEVE the resurrection will be a physical raising of life of all the dead: of the believer to everlasting life to dwell with the Lord in the New Heaven and New Earth, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting separation from God.
